Aaromalé, a community space designed to evoke a sense of emancipation, preserves the essence of traditional architecture from Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. Our task was to create a 40-seater café within a coworking environment.
Café Aaromalé was meticulously crafted using locally sourced materials to establish a grounded and welcoming ambiance. The green tones of the feature wall and furnishings, along with the natural wood furniture, harmonize beautifully with the vibrant yellow and green handmade Athangudi tiles, crafted using an ancient technique from Athangudi, Tamil Nadu.
This carefully curated aesthetic exudes warmth, cultural heritage, and seamlessly integrates with the creative atmosphere provided by the surrounding landscape and foliage.
